"The Student Adversity Committee is a dedicated group of students who work tirelessly throughout the semester to organize fundraisers for a dual purpose. First and foremost, we aim to support fellow students who may be facing adversity, offering a helping hand when they need it most. Simultaneously, we strive to create opportunities for the entire student body to come together and enjoy memorable experiences. At the conclusion of each semester, we use the funds raised to plan exciting day trips that foster a sense of unity and relaxation within our student community.

Last year's fundraiser was a remarkable success, allowing us to organize an unforgettable day trip to Boston. Throughout the semester, we orchestrated various fundraising initiatives, including bake sales, car washes, movie nights, and even a charity run. We encouraged the active participation of students and faculty to ensure the success of our fundraising efforts. These initiatives were not solely about raising funds but also about strengthening the sense of community and togetherness on our campus."
