As sad as it can gets, I chose this meme because quite frankly it has some truth on it. Men are known to be the dominant partner in today's society, therefore forcing them to portrait something that they are not. These roles sometimes are simply just attached with gender, making it difficult for a male to express their feeling and vulnerability to someone. Although a female may consider this silly and might welcome them to express their feelings, reality can be quite the opposite. Sure a men might expose themselves once or twice, but most of the time a male tend to hide their struggles and pain for the better sake of their love ones. The whole purpose of this behavior usually falls into not wanting a family member, partner or friend to feel sad for which what they're going through. This unfortunately happens to many mens, and most likely will continue until society stops putting labels to gender. However, this might sound a bit contradicted, but I personally believe this may lead into building a stronger character, or at least have more resistance. The only reason why I'm stating this is because just how without pressure, there would be no diamond, the same thing applies to us, without tests and trials, male or female wouldn't know their strength.
Susan Sontag
Quote; "In one version of its utility, the camera record incriminates. Starting with their use by the Paris police in the murderous round up of the Communards in June 1871."
Have you ever heard of the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words" ? Well, this phrase clearly applies to this quote. In many cases revealing the truth can be quite difficult, however with the help of a photograph someone has a higher opportunity to support their statement. A perfect example for this conclusion is the quote that we are given, thanks to the camera records authorities are able to capture criminals and provide evidence to the public. This showcase how powerful a single photo can be, and create a huge impact towards people lives. However, although photograph has participated a major role in our society by capturing lifetime memories, it has also provide us the help that we desperately needed to bring justice for those who deserve it. In conclusion photos are part of our lives now and can be use to capture a memory or as a tool of evidence, and all I hope for is that we keep on improving our only tools that can make a difference in our lives.
Quote; "Although there is a sense in which the camera does indeed capture reality, not just interpret it, photographs are as much an interpretation of the world as paintings and drawings are. Those occasions when the taking of photographs is relatively undiscriminating, promiscuous, or self- effacing do not lessen the didacticism of the whole enterprise."
When it comes to a photo many people expect to see an event or a series of events of someone's life, however after reading this quote it was interesting to see in how a photo can be interpreted in many ways and can even tell stories. Just as much as paintings or drawings, photos can be exciting and describe a tale. A photo can indeed be neutral, showcase facts and be use as evidence, but it could also be art, how? Well it can reveal emotions, colors, and creativity, and these are the perfect ingredients for a piece to become artistic.

Page 21- Quote: The truth shall set you free.
More The truth shall set you free.
All The truth shall set you free.
The access to? truth shall set you free.
The truth in the correct form shall set you free.
The truth shall set you free.
"The truth shall set you free", This an intense biblical phrase that as a Christian I firmly believe it, however after reading all 6 phrases and seeing how the author added or erased a few words it showcase how it affects the whole context. It amazed me how a few words can provide you with a whole different perspective or conclusion, such as the statement of "The access to? truth shall set you free". As an individual and more so as a group many people don't actually have access or opportunity for knowledge, therefore limiting them and settling for what the only know. In the other hand a society that has the knowledge and capability to understand a situation and how it might affect them will rise up against any individual who might want to do their evil. Another statement that I found it interesting is, "The truth in the correct form shall set you free." This can be interpreted as a whole different content since now we're no longer talking whether if you have access to the truth or not, but rather if it was properly delivered. The truth its only one, but a human being can altered or distort the truth for their own beneficial or interest. This will result in making it very difficult for the source to be trustworthy, and may lead people for misinformation and confusion.

As an immigrant I do understand the frustration that many of us have to go through in order to receive the same rights as the rest of the citizens. Many immigrant unfortunately have to relocate themselves far from home to seek for better opportunities, and they are well aware of the difficulties and struggles that they'll have to confront. However this does not implied for employers to take advantage of their situation and compasate them less than minimum wage. I truly believe that the least that we can all do is play this game call life fairly, and give immigrants family their fare share for their own work.
