Patriarchy - a system of society or government in which men hold the power and women are largely excluded from it.
Understanding Patriarchy -
*"I was taught as their daughter that it was my role to serve, to be weak, to be free of the burden of thinking, to care for and nurture others."
I'm surprised but not surprised because this is how it used to be back then, women would just stay at home but I didn't know they were forced to I feel that it's messed up that, that's how women were treated back then, that they were forced to nurture others and not be able to think and be considered weak.
* "To indoctrinate boys into the rules of patriarchy, we force them to feel pain and and to deny their feelings."
How Memes Are Making Protest Art More Powerful -
* "Recently, a meme generator was launched that provides an editable image of Trump holding up his executive orders, encouraging users to come up with their own text for Trump to show off."
It's honestly pretty cool that there's an app that creates memes and can turn any image or video into a meme. Anyone, anywhere can make a simple but funny or well received meme. Even Elon Musk uses memes, the richest man in the world.
Memes Are Out Generation's Protest Art -
* “You can express yourself with one picture of a meme better than a whole page of text..”
